You can explore the network of friends (and friend-of-friends) using the command /examine followed by the Uniform or alias for some friend. The examine command will list the friend's profile information, which includes a listing of that friend's friends. Update: You can /surf this, too.

Since PSYC pays more attention to the privacy of the participants, I would introduce an additional factor, which each person can give itself - kontaktfreudigkeitsfaktor! What do we want to call that? connectivity? friendship degree? level? anyhow would be the meaning as follows: 

       friendivity 0 = only my friends see me
       friendivity 1 = friends of my friends can get to know me
       friendivity 2 = the friends of the friends of the friends..
           etc.

default friendivity, I think, should be 1 or 2.

A generally nice way to show the “Web OF trust” in psyc. to realize, I am also for a future encrypted chat with keys sharing, and to keep in mind even for file sharing. Something which is also enormously favorable as apposed to friendster - that is, psyc is not Centralistic. the friendship network participants would be distributed over the psyc network.

Perhaps we should make possible a colouring of friendships in order to separate/mark/classify friendships correctly. For example: business contacts, online gamer friends, dates/night-life. A "connecting tree" of new friends to become acquainted with is represented by this classification.
