STUN

(Simple Traversal of UDP (User Datagram Protocol) through NATs (Network Address Translators).

If we weren't still using IPv4... anyway.. a solution to a problem that should have never arisen. This is of relevance in all P2P operations of clients like typically file transfer and telephony.

<coyo> why not list STUNd as a dependancy of PSYC (or at least a recommendation) in the package manager?

<lynX> only if it uses it.. in which way would you use it with "PSYC" (psyced i presume) .. instead of p0wnat?  ;-)

<fippo> iirc, net/sip has some stun-related code, so why not simply pimp that?
